Boost Efficiency, Maximize Savings: B2B Buying Made Simple for Unorganised Channels
We designed a user-friendly B2B app to simplify ordering for independent retailers and HORECA businesses. Through in-depth user research (12+ interviews) and global app analysis, we identified key challenges and opportunities. This research informed the Business Requirements Document (BRD) and user interface (UI) elements tailored for this unique audience. Inspired by the client's logo, a detailed style guide ensures a seamless brand experience across both the app and website.

Key Takeaways
Adoption of technology depends on retailer openness & benefits:
“Itna time nahi hai mere paas. Mujhe jaldi se jaldi apna order place karna hai..aur ussme muje expiry wagerah bhi dekhna. Kis item ka kab expiry hai, kitna discount hai yeh sab"
Fragmented Ordering: Retailers juggle multiple apps to source different products, highlighting a need for a comprehensive solution within our app.
Frictionless User Experience: Quick and easy interaction within the app is crucial for user adoption and efficient ordering.
Value-Driven Engagement: Offers, discounts, and coupons significantly influence app retention for small retailers. Integrating these features can increase app stickiness.
Transparency is Key: Clear visibility of details like delivery time, price, discounts, and expiry dates is essential for informed decision-making by retailers.
How much to order & when:
“Kam bikayi hota hai.. Home delivery mein customer ko chahiye bas wahi order karta hai. Dukaan aakar woh kuch aur bhi khareed leta tha..”
Inventory Management:
Frequent Orders: Retailers prefer smaller, more frequent orders for perishable items (daily, early morning delivery) due to short shelf life concerns.
Order Optimization: App should assist with calculating inventory movement and suggesting optimal order quantities.
Limited Storage: Smaller retailers need an option for frequent, smaller orders due to limited storage space.
Product Insights:
Trending Products: Retailers want to discover popular products in their area to optimize their inventory.

Initial Designs

Final designs
Through in-depth discussions with stakeholders and multiple rounds of realigning business expectations, we meticulously crafted the app's user experience. This involved designing over 200 screens, each undergoing 5-6 iterations to refine the user journey and ensure it seamlessly meets both business needs and user expectations. This iterative process guaranteed an app that is not only feature-rich but also intuitive and efficient for users.
Onbaording:
Our onboarding process offers a balance between ease of access and security. Users can explore the app as a guest, familiarizing themselves with features and product offerings. However, to view product prices and complete purchases, users will need to complete a secure Know Your Customer (KYC) process. This comprehensive KYC helps lenders assess potential risks by verifying a user's financial history, fostering trust and responsible lending practices within the platform.

Home page:
Our app cuts through the clutter. Find your way with a clear interface and address. Scan products with the search bar QR scanner. See deals upfront with top banners. Explore new brands, must-haves, and browse by category or brand. Reorder past buys easily. Verify for prices and track deliveries. Powerful filters and tappable product tiles make shopping a breeze.

PDP & PLP ( shop via category & brand ):
Products are discoverable through both categories and brands. Detailed product cards on both the Product Listing Page (PLP) and Product Detail Page (PDP) showcase key information like profit margins and price differences, helping users make informed and efficient purchasing decisions.
